Enjoy a half day tour to some of the most interesting sites of the Bucharest outskirts: the Mogosoaia Castle and the Snagov Monastery. Meet your guide in the hotel lobby and drive first to Mogosoaia, where, where you will visit the beautiful castle from the 17th century. The Mogosoaia Castle was built for the Brancoveanu family in what is called the Romanian Renaissance style. During the tour you will get to see the kitchen, the tower, St. George’s Church and the greenhouses. The palace presently houses a museum and an art gallery. Visit next the Snagov Island, where it is said that Dracula was buried. The locals talk also about hidden treasures of the well known count. The Island is famous for its orthodox monastery which dates back to the 15th century. Return to Bucharest and to your hotel, where you say goodbye from your local guide.
