Dracula Castle & Peles Castle
Trip description
After meeting with your local guide in the hotel lobby, you board your coach for your next destination: The Carpathian Mountains. After about 2 hours driving, you reach the Prahova Valley and its ele-gant town, Sinaia. Here, you have the chance to visit the Peles Castle, a superb royal residence built above acres of green meadows, deep inside the forest. Built in German Renaissance style, the Peles Castle is probably the most beautiful castle in Eastern Europe. You drive further to Bran, where you will find Dracula’s Castle, which was built by the Saxons at the end of the 14th century and served as customs between Transylvania and Wallachia. The legend says that Dracula lived here and history mentions the royal family spen-ding their summers inside the medieval castle. After your visit, you return to Bucharest, where you arrive back at the hotel and say farewell from your local guide and driver.
