Daily program
On the day of your arrival in Bucharest, the Romanian capital, your local tour guide welcomes you at the airport. You drive to your hotel in the city center. After the check-in at the hotel you have the opportunity to get to know Bucharest better during a sightseeing tour. You visit the Patriarchal Cathedral and the Village Museum. Afterwards, you have the chance to admire the Palace of Parliament, the second largest building in the world. Dinner at the hotel.
Transylvania is an absolute must-see. You visit the beautiful mountain towns of the Prahova Valley. You drive further to Bran, the famous castle where it is said to have lived Dracula. Your tour takes you to Brasov- the heart of Transylvania and one of the most beautiful medieval cities. The Black Church, the largest religious building between Vienna and Istanbul is also on your schedule. Transport back to Bucharest and dinner at the hotel.
Today you drive to Constanta, the oldest city in Romania and the largest harbor at the Black Sea. The city tour starts with the Museum of Archeology, where you learn more about the Romanian history. Afterwards, you can admire the Roman Mosaic and the Orthodox Cathedral. The afternoon is at your disposal.
Today you visit the Museum of the Danube Delta and its different sections, such as ethnography, arts and natural sciences. Afterwards, you take a wonderful boat trip to the heart of The Danube Delta, the so called Birds’ Paradise. On board you enjoy a typical regional lunch with fish dishes. Transport back to Constanta.
Today you are going to visit the first Greek settlement in Romania: Histria. The ruins of the antique town were discovered in the 20th century. Afterwards, you visit the Murfatlar vineyard, the largest of this region. You have the chance to taste four of the best regional wines. The afternoon is at your disposal.
Today you travel to Balchik, a lovely seaside resort on the Bulgarian coast of the Black Sea. Here you visit the botanical garden. The former palace of the Romanian Queen Mary is also on your schedule today. Your journey takes you via Mangalia back to Constanta.
Transport back to the airport in Bucharest, where the tour guide sees you off.
