La aventura empieza a la frontera Rumana-Húngara, donde el guía os va a esperar. El viaje empieza en la región de Banat y os va a llevar a Brad. Aquí van a tener la oportunidad de viajar con uno de los últimos trenes a vapor de Rumania. El recorrido en bicicleta continúa con la ciudad de Alba Iulia y Sibiu, la Capital Cultural Europea del 2007. Antes de cenar con los agricultores de las montañas puedes visitar el Museo de Iconos sobre Vidrio de Sibiel. Desde Sibiel van a continuar su viaje hacia Brasov, donde van a visitar la Iglesia Negra.  Después de pasar a través de  Sinca Veche, Cincu y Agnita van a llegar a Sighisoara, una de las últimas fortalezas medievales habitadas de Europa. E viaje continua hacia la ciudad de Mediar, un asentamiento de origen alemán.  La próxima parada va a ser en la ciudad de Cluj Napoca, donde van a visitar la Iglesia del Santo Miguel y el Museo del Arte. El viaje termina en la ciudad de Oradea, una ciudad en el estilo del Arte Nuevo.

Encuentro con el guía a la frontera Húngara-Rumana, con cual vas a pasar tu próxima semana. Cena en el hotel.

Hoy día empieza la primera etapa del tour en bicicleta por Banat. En estos días vas a acercarte a Transilvania. El viaje os va a llevar a través de los pequeños pueblos, con campos de maíz muy grandes, viñedos y a través de los asombrosos paisajes de los Cárpatos del Oeste. Llegada a Brad.

In the morning you have the opportunity to travel with one of the last steam trains in Romania. Get in the train and enjoy the ride in the Western Carpathians. Afterwards, you cycle to Alba Iulia. There, you visit the well known Vauban fortress, with its two wonderful cathedrals: the Orthodox and the Catholic Cathedral. Then, you travel to Sibiu, the 2007 European Capital of Culture. Dinner at a resident family from Sibiel, with local specialties. Also, you visit the second largest Museum of Icons on Glass in the world.

From Sibiu you cycle towards Brasov. Discover the scenic landscapes and the small mountain villages. You arrive in Brasov, the city in the heart of Romania. In the old city center you visit the Black Church, the largest church between Vienna and Istanbul. Afterwards you visit the Old City Hall and the Orthodox Church.

In the morning you drive to Sinca Veche, from where you ride again your bike. Further, you drive through Cincu and Agnita, where you visit one of the most beautiful Saxon fortified churches, to Sighisoara. Sighisoara is one of the last inhabited fortresses in Europe. In the old city center you visit the city’s main attractions, the Clock Tower, the Church on the Hill and the House Dracula.

The day begins with a wonderful bike tour to Medias, a former German settlement. You travel through former Saxonian villages along the Transylvanian plains. In Medias you cycle to the city center, for sightseeing. One of the important churches from Medias is the Evangelical St. Margaret Church. Drive to Cluj Napoca. Here you can relax during a city tour. In the end, you visit the St. Michael Church and the Art Museum, housed by the Banffy Palace.

Today you travel to Oradea, a splendid city shaped by the Art Nouveau style. You enjoy for few hours by visiting the old city center and the Moon Church. The Black Eagle Passage is another place that is worth to be seen. In Oradea you say “Goodbye” to Romania and to your guide.
